About Us

How can I contact you to ask questions?

This is common, given the vast number of products that we offer our customers.  Don’t sweat it, we will do the research for you and make pertinent suggestions.

What are your hours of operation?

We are available from 9 AM to 5 PM EST, but please e-mail us any time of the day with questions and we will promptly respond to your inquiry.

Ordering

What is your minimum order quantity?

For all screen printed apparel, our minimum is 24 pieces.  This can be mix & match, i.e. 12 tees and 12 hoodies, provided the logo is the same across all items.

For all embroidered apparel, we can do as low as a single item.  Keep in mind, this will be very expensive, but if you are in a pinch and need 10 polos with embroidery, we got you covered.

With all other imprinted products, the minimum order quantity will vary.  For expensive items it can be as low as QTY 1, but for low cost items (under $1 each), the minimums can be quite high, such as QTY 1000 or more.

Contact us, and we will walk you through the options available to you for all budgets.

How do I get a quote?

What types of payment do you accept?

We accept payments all major credit cards, PayPal, check or cash.

Ask us about our “cash discount” if you prefer to pay via check/cash.

Can I get a sample before my order?

Absolutely, samples are billed to the customer and later deducted from your total when you place an order.

How long does it take to receive my order?

The time between when you place an order and get the goods can vary considerably for different items.

However, you can think of this process in three main steps: artwork development and approval, production, and shipping.

Artwork

Where do I send art files?

Please e-mail all artwork attachments to art@d2brands.net and reference your order.

What type of art files do you accept?

For the vast majority of promotional items, you must send vector artwork of your desired logo. If fonts are embedded within this file, be sure to convert all text to outlines and paths, otherwise we will not be able to view the artwork correctly.

Below are the formats that we accept:

  • AI (Adobe Illustrator)
  • EPS (Encapsulated PostScript)
  • PDF (Portable Document Format)

We have a JPG/PNG file, can we use this instead?

Only certain items can be imprinted using high quality JPG/PNG artwork, but we always recommend vector art so that your logo is reproduced as clear and crisp as possible.

What if we don’t have vector artwork?

Don’t worry, we can help you convert your image to vector artwork — often at no extra cost when placing an order!

We don’t have a logo, can you provide artwork for us?

Yes, we are able to create custom designs for your order for an additional fee, or if you simply want a text-based logo, we will create this for free!

Screen Printing

What is screen printing?

Screen printing is a technique by which ink logos are applied to apparel such as t-shirts.

Each printed color requires it’s own “screen”, which is why a 5-color shirt will cost much more than a 1-color shirt.

How does screen printing compare to embroidery?

This is kind of like comparing apples and oranges — they both have their place.

Screen printing:

  • Method of choice for most tee shirts, and plenty of other apparel styles
  • The pricing for screen printing is determined by the number of colors, not logo size
  • It is generally lower cost than embroidery, so you get more for your budget
  • High-quality vector artwork is required to reproduce the logo
  • The printed logo should last years, but not forever, as it may begin to crack after a long period of usage

Embroidery:

  • Recommended for high-end apparel, such as golf polo shirts, or uneven material, such as fleece jackets
  • The pricing is determined by the number of stitches, so the larger the more expensive, but can contain any colors
  • If the embroidery is small, you can get by with lower-quality artwork, such as a JPG
  • The end result is a longer-lasting, more durable product, since the logo is sewn into the item.

What is embroidery?

Embroidery is the decoration method where a logo is sewn into an item with needle and thread.

How does embroidery compare to screen printing?

Shipping & Delivery

What company do you use for shipping?

Because our products are located across the U.S., we will ship using a variety of methods such as UPS, FedEx and USPS.

Can I use my own shipping account?

If your company has a UPS/FedEx number, we are able to bill shipping costs directly to your account for most orders.

We are local, can we schedule a pickup or delivery?

For screen printed and embroidered apparel, we offer this service to our local clients based in the Philadelphia/South Jersey area.

However, most other products are decorated and shipped from various warehouse locations, and therefore require shipping & handling charges.  If so, it’s most convenient to ship directly to you.

Returns

What is your return policy?

Once the customer approves a design proof for production, we are not able to accept returns.

If you receive your items, and they do not match the design proof that was approved, please contact us immediately and we will work to give you a refund or reprint.
